• Freshers' Week – Oculus Café (email the café about expected footfall)
• Week 1 – PowerPoint night – 7th Oct
• Week 2 – Board games – 14th Oct
• Week 2 – Cat Café – 17th Oct (UWCS can cover the full cost of the visit)
• Week 3 – Dodgeball Event – 21st Oct (borrow from society / rent from SU + potential collab)
• Week 4 – Pumpkin carving – 28th Oct
• Week 5 – Craft night – 4th Nov
• Week 6 – Gaming (Nintendo games) - 11th Nov
• Week 7 – Musical – 18th Nov
• Week 8 – Duck Meal - 25th Nov

Women in STEM talk

• Right before Freshers' Week event
• Crystal and Irene will ask the panel questions
• UWCS to advertise event
• Talk to James to make this DCS event compulsory
• Ask James about the type of questions.

Lovelace Day

• Already informed Maths Society that UWCS will help out
• Waiting for email back
• Maths society is leading this

BCSWomen Lovelace Colloquium Introductory Event

• Second half of term: remember to email Lea then.
• Covers idea of event, reason to join and assistance provided to join
• Consider asking DCS to handle transport logistics for event
• Two Events: How to get in and how to make a good poster

Women in Tech: Career Talk – Week 4/5

• Internships, CVs and LinkedIn
• Potentially ask other 3rd/4th years Women in STEM to join
• 1 hour presentation on all the basics + 30 mins questions + 1.5 hours networking/reading CVs
• Potentially speed dating

Industry Talks

• Potentially get IMC Trading to do a women in tech talk
• Target companies who tend to support women
